On behalf of the entire 6-4-3 DP Baseball organization and its wide reaching family, the 6-4-3 staff is thrilled to relay news that Josh Merrigan (Class of 2012), senior outfielder at Georgia Gwinnett College, was drafted last night by the Texas Rangers with the 309th overall pick (10th Round) in the 2016 MLB Draft. Josh was a prep student-athlete at Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia, and a member of very early 6-4-3 academy teams. 6-4-3 is incredibly proud of Josh and this impressive personal accomplishment in his journey as a ballplayer.
According to Georgia Gwinnett's athletics website, Josh Merrigan is the highest drafted player in Georgia Gwinnett's baseball history. The 6-4-3 family and staff congratulates Josh and wishes him only the best in his professional career.
