Marietta, Georgia (Cobb County)
Led by Coach Danny Pralgo, the 6-4-3 DP Cougars 11U squad successfully made the finals in the Perfect Game Spring Season Opener by beating the Staf Locals last Sunday afternoon. After losing to Staf on Friday night, the Cougars exacted revenge through excellent defense and timely offense, including a perfectly executed squeeze play. The Cougars came up short in the championship game but were in the game until the final pitch. Thirteen different Cougars took the mound over the weekend. Jarrell Reynolds was named MVP of the tournament, an honor cemented after collecting an extra-inning walk-off hit in the first bracket game on Sunday morning.
Congratulations to the 11U Cougars coaches and players for their strong start to the spring season!
